As a part of the Ventureast Life Fund team, Koushik works closely with the team to source, evaluate, execute and monitor investments in healthcare, food/agri and cleantech sectors.

Prior to his foray into venture capital, he worked as an Associate in the Healthcare team of Verity Knowledge Solutions. In this role, he assisted UBS investment bankers of different regions such as US, EMEA and APAC with mergers & acquisitions and private placements. 

Koushik holds an MBA from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) and a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from BITS Pilani. During MBA, Koushik interned with Ventureast and EQ India Investment Advisors and worked on a corporate project for Riverbridge Investment Advisors. These experiences provided him with a good exposure to the venture capital industry and also helped him gain practical knowledge of various industries including cold chain logistics, rubber recycling, tyres, medical transcription, pharmaceuticals, dairy, fertilizers and childcare. He received commendation certificates and recommendations appreciating his excellent work from all the firms he interned or worked for. Koushik also has the experience of co-founding a start-up in the accommodation solutions space, soon after graduating from BITS Pilani.

Besides work, Koushik loves travelling and exploring new places.
