As part of the Ventureast proactive fund, Mahesh actively scouts for deals, while working closely with investee companies in the infrastructure, transport and digital-health space. Mahesh brings with him hands-on experience of nurturing very early-stage operations for a business. He has been involved in setting up a large brand from scratch in India, navigating legal, regulatory, labour and technology landscapes.
Prior to Ventureast, Mahesh was the first hire for Uber in India and responsible for launching operations in several key cities in the South Indian region. He led operations and a 150 member team at an early stage e-commerce venture which was acquired within 24 months.
Prior to this, he was a management consultant with Feedback Infra and adviced multiple clients on Business strategy and Improvement. Mahesh holds an Electronic degree in Engineering from Anna University, Chennai and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad.
Outside of work, Mahesh claims to run long distances and is an avid reader.
