As part of the Ventureast Proactive Fund, Dhiraj is actively involved in a full gamut of VC investment activities ranging from identifying deals & conducting diligence, to preparing detailed investment memos for the board, negotiating term sheets, to monitoring, value creation in investee companies and exit engineering. He has balanced mix of experience in areas of Venture Capital Investment, Mergers & Acquisitions, Strategic Alliances, Corporate Strategy, Business & Operation Consulting and Technology Program Management.
Prior to joining Ventureast, Dhiraj spent over four years with Cisco Systems as Corporate Development Manager. He was responsible for Cisco’s venture investments, Acquisitions and Joint Venture in Asia Pacific region. He was lead/ co-lead for 14 Venture Capital Investments (totalling >$50M) in India, Singapore, Australia, and APAC. He won Cisco’s prestigious APJC High Five award and was 1st runner up of Harvard Leadership Development Program
Prior to Cisco Systems, he was part of the Corporate Strategy & Planning team of Reliance Global Communication, 3rd largest operator in India, and worked as IT consultant at Tata Consultancy Services, India’s largest IT services firm.
Dhiraj holds an MBA from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad where he graduated in the Dean’s List (top 3%). He earned his B. Tech degree in Electronics & Communication from NIT Kurukshetra (Dean's List Student, top 2% of the batch). He has held various positions of responsibility and leadership throughout his educational career.
